Sometimes we are all so busy at work/school, we tend to forget the work-life balance and we forget about ourselves. We have made a checklist that mainly focuses on YOU.
So here is the checklist for the week:’
Make a to-do list:
Be organized from the start of the week and list down all the things/tasks that you want to do this week. By listing it down you won’t forget anything and it will give you a satisfaction when you get things done. This will keep you focused and show you what task has been done and what task is left to do.
Find some inspiration:
The first thing on your checklist should be finding some inspiration to get your week started. Try indulging in some content which is inspirational. Get some inspiration by watching some inspirational video on TED Talk, reading some inspirational quotes or some articles to boost your energy to get you through the week.
Appreciate yourself:
Make an “appreciation list”. Appreciate your self this week. List down 5 things you love about yourself or what you are thankful for, it will only take a minute or two. This will put your life in perspective and bring out positive thoughts.
Prepare:
Prepare and get your work done beforehand. For example, prepare your meals over the weekend or at the start of the week, need supplies to do for something then get it from before. According to Peter Gasca, “Planning is good, but preparing is better”. Don’t leave things for the last minute and prepare everything before the week starts.
Clean Up:
Clean up this week and make yourself more productive. For example, clean up your desk at your workplace which has various benefits. Always dedicate 5-10 minutes at the start of your week to tidy up your workspace. Similarly, Daria Harvey says, decluttering is important. It helps you become organized, efficient, reduces stress and much more/
Put exercise on your schedule:
Put your health first. Exercise is important, don’t get indulged in your daily tasks so that you forget about your health. Eat healthy food and exercise daily. You can do some exercises at home by watching some YouTube videos, like the ones here, and using some things that are at your home like bags and tissue rolls. In case you don’t get time to prepare healthy food, you can even get go-to meals at reasonable prices by clicking here.
Focus on self-care:
This week take some time out for yourself. Pamper yourself this week. Put on some sheet mask, do what makes you happy or take a break and rest at home. Catch up on some t.v series or read a book. Take care of yourself and focus on you.
To conclude, make a checklist to stay organized all week. It will help you stay track on time and make sure that you don’t miss out anything.
